Meta today announced Meta One, a new subscription service integrated into its apps that provides elevated AI usage and expanded expression capabilities, along with professional tools for creators and businesses. The offering includes Core and Premium bundles that couple existing features with higher compute-intensive AI capabilities, such as more robust image and video generation via Muse models and expanded in-app AI tooling like Restyle on Instagram. Meta reports that more than 50 features have started rolling out and that the service has reached 15 million subscriptions and trials to date, while the standard free tier across Meta apps and Meta AI remains intact. The rollout targets individuals, creators, and businesses, aiming to streamline presence management, audience growth, and marketing operations within familiar apps, without requiring new accounts. Early examples include an enhanced profile, a stronger follow button on reels, and automated follow invitations for engagement, plus expanded access to Meta Business Agent for customer responses. Meta also hints at future additions, such as Edits Plus for cloud storage and deeper analytics tooling tied to Instagram insights. The pricing starts at a few dollars per month across bundles, with higher tiers offering more AI capacity and collaboration features. The move signals Meta’s broader push to monetize its large user base while embedding AI-driven capabilities more deeply into its social and business tools.
